About Us

We’re a family-run, construction, building and project management company based in Fulham in South West London.

Founded in 2008, we’ve grown quickly to a team of ten and have now delivered more than 600 projects for our customers in London and the South East. We’re incredibly proud that almost all of our work comes from recommendations and referrals.

 

Our entire team, from office staff to sub-contractors, work to a set of guiding principles, that make sure our quotes are always realistic, and that our projects are delivered on time and in budget with minimal stress. Find out more about how we work at WG Ltd.

Meet The Team

Will Gaze

Director

Our Director, Will, was born into a family of builders, both his father and grandfather built houses, and his grandfather built the first ever all-weather tennis courts.

With more than a decade of experience running and completing maintenance and construction projects, he’s a very hands-on director. He makes it a priority to see the majority of our customers personally and keeps a close eye on all of our projects to make sure everything is running smoothly and our clients are not only happy, but positively delighted! He passionately believes that collaboration is the key and that by involving clients in the process as much as possible, projects run more smoothly and clients are happier.

Sophie Gaze

Interior Designer

Sophie has worked in the world of homeware retail and interior design, in her own business and alongside husband Will on WG Ltd projects for the last eight years. Sophie’s keen eye for detail, familiarity with building sites and the ability to successfully communicate the design specifications during a build makes her an essential cog in the WG team.

Her passion for interiors focuses less on the the fluff and frills and more on the integral fittings and finishes, making sure layouts maximise space and create a space that her our clients absolutely love.

Daniel Collada

Project Quantity Surveyor

Daniel has worked as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry for 13 years. His experience encompasses top healthcare developments, heritage refurbishment projects, bluechip sub-contractors in Central London and the development of the iconic mixed-use Ferrater’s Science Park in Granada in Spain. 

At WG Ltd, Daniel uses this broad experience to closely monitor project costs, budgets and timescales, keeping everything running as expected. He also makes sure our new projects are costed accurately, so there are no nasty surprises for our clients later on.

Magda Thorburn

Project Manager

Magda comes from a graphic design background but is also an experienced administrator with a strong ability to manage the needs of people and complete projects within set criteria. Through her own passion for interior design and DIY house projects she sees home construction and decoration as very personal pursuits, which require a considerate assistance. For Magda each project is a unique challenge where thorough planning, realistic scheduling but also finding functional and stylish design solutions are all necessary to successfully complete the project.

Jolanta Sawicka

Project Manager

Jolanta worked in the Hospitality industry prior to joining WG Ltd, where she has become a stickler for attention to detail, efficiency and organisation. Jolanta’s husband is one of our accomplished builders, combined with her love of interior design and excellent communication skills, Jolanta was the perfect person to join our busy team. She guides her clients through each project seamlessly, always providing fantastic support, trust and a great finished results every time.

Brian Griffin

Procurement Manager

Brian has over 50 years experience in the building industry that has taken him through all aspects of the construction industry, from being on site to a range of managerial positions. He has worked for WG Ltd for nearly 2 years, in which time his experience has been invaluable to the company. He has a knack for liaising between the client and the workforce and in securing us the best possible materials at the best possible prices.

Laura Gaze

Marketing and Communications

Laura is the latest family member to join the team. She is hugely excited to be part of the great success already generated by WG Ltd but is keen to build and support the growth and development in many areas of the company including marketing, lead management, HR, internal processes and communications. Laura comes from a PA and events management background including management of a children’s burns charity initiative for 5 years. She has great communication skills and enjoys drawing on her wealth of experience in managing others, events and projects in order to facilitate the best customer experience and continue the development of the company.

Anna Krol

Executive Assistant

Anna’s mission as a virtual executive assistant is to help SMEs stay on track and free of distraction. At WG Ltd Anna enjoys a busy environment where she can manage multiple projects, interface with customers, co-workers and lower the stress level for everyone by effectively processing incoming information. She has experience in digital marketing, business processes, project management, admin and research. She is a tech geek with one main aim – learn and grow, especially in providing remote business support.
